Delivery Information 

 

Standard Delivery

 

  • All orders up to and including £120.00 delivery charge £4.95.
  • All orders over £120.00 FREE delivery.
  • UK Mainland apart from the post codes listed below.

 

Where and When We Deliver

 

Our delivery service takes place on weekdays only. 

Smaller items are sent with Parcelforce on a 48hr service and you will recieve an email with tracking number and expected day of delivery.  larger items are normally delivered by our own, in house delivery team and we always contact the customer the day before the intended delivery and give an AM or PM delivery time.  At times we do have to use national carriers, we send these items on a next day service, again you would recieve a telephone call to check when you are available.

Where delivery has been requested for a specific date Wicken Toys Ltd will endeavor to fulfill this request but this cannot be guaranteed.

If the original delivery date requested by the customer cannot be met and the customer would rather not wait they are entitled to cancel their order and to receive any refund of monies paid. If we cannot agree another time for delivery, we offer the customer a full refund.

Our standard delivery covers all off the UK mainland apart from the following areas:

AB31-38, AB41-56, HS, PA20-78, PH15-44, KW, ZE, FK19-21, IV1, 1V3-56

We can deliver to these areas but you will need to call us for a quote.

 

Estimated Delivery Time

 

Unless Wicken Toys Ltd has agreed a longer delivery time with the customer, we will deliver the goods within 4 working days.  If Wicken Toys Ltd is unable to deliver the goods within this time you will be informed immediately and, with your agreement, another time for delivery will be arranged.

Wicken Toys Limited will not be liable for any claim for compensation whatsoever for failing to deliver on a particular date or time.

 

Delivery Drivers

 

Wicken Toys Ltd endeavor to do all our own deliveries using our own fleet of delivery vans.

When Wicken Toys Ltd makes the delivery, the delivery driver will always try to leave the item / items where the customer asks. The furthest point that they are expected to leave any item is on a back patio, access permitting.  Any side gate or passage is normally big enough as long as a person can walk down there.  The drivers are not expected to take the item / items any further beyond that point.  The delivery drivers will carry items through the house that do not require a trolley to move the items.  Larger boxes may need unpacking and taking through piece by piece, this is up to the customer to do.  We do not ask the driver to do this as they have timed bookings and would find themselves late for other customers.  

On the occasions that we have to use a national courier to make the delivery, they will only deliver to the front door.
