Pricing

All prices include VAT @ 20%. All prices and special offers are subject to availability and change.

 

 

Orders Placed with Wicken Toys Ltd

 

You are deemed to place an order with us by ordering via our online checkout process. As part of our checkout process you will be given the opportunity to check your order and to correct any errors. We will send you an order acknowledgement, detailing the products you have ordered.

Our acceptance of an order takes place once we have delivered the order.  When we deliver the order the purchase contract will be made even if your payment has been processed immediately, unless we have notified you that we do not accept your order or you have cancelled your order.

We may refuse to accept an order:

    (a) where goods are not available.

    (b) where we cannot obtain authorisation for your payment.

    (c) if there has been a pricing or product description error.

 

Canceling Your Order

If you wish to cancell your order you can notify us by email to sales@wickentoys.co.uk before your goods have been despatched. 

If you have already taken delivery of your order than In line with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 you have the right to 'cancel' the contract at any time up to '14 working days starting the day after delivery'.   Again please notify us by email to sales@wickentoys.co.uk quoting your name, address and order ID.

The customer should take reasonable care of the goods whilst in possession of them and return them in their original and un-opened packaging, ensure that the product is not damaged as you have a duty of care whilst the goods are in your posession.  The customer will be liable for the cost of returning the goods.

On the rare occasion where an item is faulty or damaged in transit we will of course offer to replace the damaged item immediately.  Alternatively, we offer a full refund (payable within 30 days of agreeing the refund).  All refunds will only be made after receipt by us of the original goods supplied by Wicken Toys Limited.

Special order items that are not stocked by Wicken Toys and have to be special ordered on request of the customer are non-refundable.

 

Delivery and Installation by the Manufacturer

Delivery includes shipment to the front door.  When we use a next day delivery service it will need signing for and the driver may ask for assistance unloading.  Please inspect the components for damage prior to signing and accepting delivery.  Most products will be shipped within the quoted lead time of placing your order.  If delivery on a particular item exceeds this timescale we will contact you to inform you of the estimated delivery date.

Please note - we currently accept orders from our website for delivery to UK addresses only (please see our delivery page for delivery charges).

 

Signature on Delivery

All items shipped by courier will need a signature on delivery. We recommend that, on receipt of your goods, if the box is damaged that you state this on the delivery note in writing before signing.

 

 

Warranty / Missing Parts From Packages

Unless otherwise stated, all products offered for sale come with one years manufacturers parts warranty, warranties are non-transferable and do not include labour.  This is in addition to consumers' statutory rights.  All of the equipment that Wicken Toys Ltd supply is for private residential use, it is not suitable for use in a commercial setting.  Commercial use will void any warranties.  If you are purchasing something for a special occasion or to build on a specific day we recomend that you unpack the item / items and check that all the parts are there before assemble.  If something is missing we need time to get the item despatched and delivered to you.  Wicken Toys Ltd will not compensate for any missing parts in a pack.  We will ask for an email detailing the part number or numbers from the manual and the quatities required, we will then ask the manufacturer to send any missing parts directly to you,  this can take up to 5 working days.  Warranty claims will only be considered if the item has been assembled, positioned and maintained in accordance with the instructions.  Failure to do so will the warranty.

 

Price Match Guarantee

We do not believe in selling at a higher price and having flash sales here and there.  We sell at a competitive price while still maintaining the highest level of customer service.  You will not find any 'Recommended Retail Prices' for items that we import ourselves and sell on our web, we simply show the low price that we sell at both online and on our display site.  If you buy from Wicken Toys you can rest assured that we have checked our prices and always intend to be the lowest that you will find.  If you do find any item that we sell cheaper anywhere else please let us know, if possible we will price match any item that is in stock.

 

Hassle Free Returns

If you wish to cancell your order you can notify us by email to sales@wickentoys.co.uk before your goods have been despatched. 

If you have already taken delivery of your order than In line with the Distance Selling Act 2000 you have the right to 'cancel' the contract at any time up to '14 working days starting the day after delivery' and return the goods to us.   Again please notify us by email to sales@wickentoys.co.uk quoting your name, address and order ID and we shall then reply to you with details of where and how to return the item.  The customer is responsible for the return cost and a deduction from the value of the goods can be made if we consider the customer has handled the goods excessively. 

Please contact us within 7 days if you receive faulty products. You are entitled to a full refund should you wish or alternatively we will either arrange an exchange or in some cases an engineer to call. This could involve the customer dealing with the manufacture direct.  In the event of goods needing to be returned, the return will only be valid if authorised by Wicken Toys Ltd and if returned in appropriate packaging. We ask that you open all packages with care and that you retain the packaging in case the goods need to be returned.  Unauthorised returns will not be accepted.

All faulty or damaged goods or discrepancies must be notified to us on freephone 0800 587 1066 or sales@wickentoys.co.uk within 7 days of receipt.

 

Safety

All products on this web site are for use by children in residential / domestic environments only, if a play set is used in a commercial setting all warranties will be void.  All playcentres should be installed on level ground with an impact reducing nature and texture, such as grass, bark or safety tiles.  Do not site on any hard surface such as concrete, patios or decking.  1.8m (6ft) should be kept clear around the edge of the structure to ensure safe play.  As with all activity play equipment, we recommend that children are supervised by an adult during play.  Climbing and access is not allowed over walls, crenellations, hanging bars, handrails and onto roofs.  Entry to platforms should be by ladders and steps only.  All children’s play equipment should be regularly inspected (monthly) and the bolts and screws tightened, if necessary.  Care should be taken to avoid damaging the timber components during gardening (mowing, strimming, etc).

All complaints will be acknowledged within 5 working days and Wicken Toys Limited will endeavour to resolve the complaint as quickly as possible.  We also commit to keep the consumer fully informed throughout the complaints process.

Your statutory rights are not affected by the terms and conditions of Wicken Toys Limited.  All contracts are subject to English law.
