These grass grow mats are designed to be laid around childrens play equipment and provide a safety surface with a CFH (critical fall height) of up to 3 meters on a grass base. The grass grow mats will provide a softer surface compared to standard turf in order to protect children from falls and potential injuries. The mats have been tested to meet specification BS EN 1177: 2008 in excess of 3 metre CFH. This essentially means that the mats have been proven to reduce fall damage up to a height of 3 metres. That is more than enough protection for any children s play equipment that we sell.

The open hole design mats allows for grass to grow through, enabling you to mow the grass as you typically would without having to go through the trouble of removing the mats. Once the grass has established the mats almost become invisable, see the before and after pictures in the images.

Versatile Use

The grass mats work by creating a barrier between the surface and any footfall. On Grass this stops the ground from getting worn away and allows the ground beneath the mats to recover and encourages new grass to establish and come back thicker and stronger than before.
