Delivery Information

At Wicken Toys, we take pride in delivering your order safely and on time. Unlike many online retailers, we deliver all large items using our own in-house, tracked delivery team – not national couriers. This means:

  • Fewer damaged or lost items
  • Reliable, booked delivery dates
  • Direct contact with our friendly drivers
  • We can offer installation, see product pages for further information.

Smaller parcels (under 30 kg) are sent with trusted national carriers for fast, tracked delivery.

  • FREE delivery on most UK mainland orders over £80.
  • Delivery charge from £8.95 for orders under £80.

Delivery Times

  • Small items (under 30 kg) – Orders placed before 1 pm are dispatched next working day via APC tracked service (excludes weekends & bank holidays).
  • Large items (over 30 kg) – Delivered by our own team within 5 working days (Scotland, Devon & Cornwall within 12 days).
  • Need it sooner? Call us – we may be able to offer expedited delivery to certain postcodes.

All delivery times are estimates for orders placed before 2 pm on working days. We do not despatch on weekends or bank holidays.

Booking Your Delivery

For large items, we’ll contact you to arrange a date that suits you – usually by phone or email the day before. Our vans are tracked, and we can leave items safely (for example, in a back garden) if agreed in advance. We take a photo as proof of delivery and never leave anything roadside or in public view.

Access & Placement

  • Drivers can deliver to your back patio or garden if there’s clear access.
  • Side gates and standard paths are usually fine.
  • Drivers are not required to unpack or carry large boxes through homes.
  • Smaller boxes may be carried indoors at the driver’s discretion.

Delivery Hours

Deliveries take place Monday–Friday, 7 am – 7 pm. Please ensure we have your correct phone number for booking.

Checking Your Delivery

Check your order within 14 days for missing or damaged parts. Report any issues as soon as possible to sales@wickentoys.co.uk quoting your invoice number, delivery address, and photos if possible. Issues reported after 14 days will be handled at our discretion with replacement parts or repairs only.

Forwarding or Exporting Orders

If you forward your order to another address (for example overseas), please inspect it first for damage or errors. We cannot accept responsibility for any damage caused by third-party couriers and will only arrange collections or replacements to the original delivery address.

Special Occasions

If your purchase is for a birthday or event, please open and check it immediately to ensure all parts are correct. We’ll send replacement parts quickly if needed but cannot offer compensation for manufacturer packing errors or delays.

Returns & Cancellations

We hope that you are delighted with your purchase from Wicken Toys. However, if you change your mind, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving it. 

To cancel or return your order, please let us know in writing by emailing sales@wickentoys.co.uk with your order number and details. Returned goods must be unused, in their original packaging, and in a resalable condition. Once we have received and inspected the items, a refund will be processed within 14 days.

Please note:

  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty or damaged on arrival.
  • We can help arrange collection for large or bulky items using our own delivery team - collection costs will be deducted from your refund.
  • Items that have been installed, part-assembled, or custom-ordered cannot be returned unless faulty.
  • If you discover any damage or missing parts on delivery, please report this within 14 days so that we can supply replacements promptly.
  • If the resale value of the goods has been affected by how they were handled while in your possession, we reserve the right to make a deduction from your refund to reflect the loss in value.
