Melcourt Playbark 60L Bag

Our Melcourt Play bark 10/40 is an exceptionally well-graded, chunky, pine bark-based Loose Impact Absorbing Surface (LIAS). The Melcourt Playbark 10/40 is widely used and suitable with all play equipment, including climbing frames, slides and trampolines. It is the UK leading brand of LIAS and used extensively throughout the country for well over 20 years.

Melcourt Play bark Specifications:

• Supplied in 60L bags.
• 20 bags minimum purchase - If you take them away from our site there is no minimum purchase.
• Tested in accordance with BS EN 1176 and 1177
• Use at depths of 300mm, 200mm and 100mm giving critical fall heights of 6.01metres, 3.82 metres and 1.33 metres respectively.
• Nominal particle size 10 40mm
• Fire tested in accordance with BS 4790:1987
• Royal Horticultural Society endorsed.
• Other Accessories:
• Weed membrane - lets water drain through but stops weeds growing up through the play bark.
• Wear Pads - prevents the playbark form getting dispersed from areas under swings and at the end of slides.

If you have an area 6m x 6m and you want a depth of 150mm (6")

6m x 6m = 36m

36m / 0.39 (see table above) = 92.3 bags - round up to 93 bags of play bark.

Delivery:

If we have a van in your area we will deliver the play bark ourselves in one of our own vans. If we are not in your area will will use a national pallet delivery service. In this instance the pallets are only delivered kerb side and they may need unloading by hand if the courier does not have access to a fork lift.
